As Veteran’s Day approaches on November 11, STIMULUS Engineering Services, Inc. is taking the time to recognize a vital part of our team. Veterans make up an impressive twenty-five percent of STIMULUS’ workforce. These twenty-nine employees represent many branches of the United States Armed Forces: The U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Army (including the Indiana Army National Guard), and U.S. Air Force (including the Indiana Air National Guard). Our veterans’ service ranges from the Vietnam War Era to our nation’s most recent War on Terror. We are proud to have this diverse group of veterans from across branches and eras. STIMULUS recognizes our veteran workforce for their service as well as highlights how their experience in the military is imperative to the strength of the company. Our veterans play a crucial role in the service we provide to our largest customer NSWC Crane and other DoD entities.
STIMULUS Engineering held a veteran’s luncheon and ceremony honoring its veteran workforce October 22. Nearly our entire veteran workforce attended the luncheon. The luncheon honored their service to our country and valued their experience within the company. Veterans received a commemorative token of gratitude from STIMULUS President Tim Wagler and Chief Operations Officer Cary Bledsoe.
Organization Team Member Sarah Miller knows how important it is to recognize the sacrifices made by these veterans.
“It’s critical to take the time to appreciate all that our veterans have given for our country. It’s also important to continue to understand and support these veterans, as their work for STIMULUS is vital to the company and the community. Their knowledge and expertise enriches what STIMULUS does every day.”
Six-year United States Air Force veteran Leslie Doyle was pleased with the event.
“It truly is rewarding to work for a company that appreciates its veterans as much as STIMULUS does. Being honored with a luncheon and time with fellow veterans was definitely worthwhile. And I was impressed by how many veterans are employed here.”
The event paid tribute to the sacrifices veterans made in service to our country, and how their experiences greatly improve the quality of work STIMULUS does for Crane and the DOD.
